This year's Tiger Business Awards took place in the City of Bolton, at the renowned Reebok Stadium, on Friday 20th June 2008. Crystal-Iced.com, was a finalist for the: Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and guess what? We won with flying colours. As the founder, owner, manager of Crystal-Iced.com (thats me: Saima Anwar, 23), I was delighted to accept the Award. It was the most amazing evening ever, I got to meet James Caan from Dragons Den (I idolise him, very very nice person :) ........"I hope to one day become the female version of James Caan", thats success wise.

I also met lots more lovely people such a Ilham Hamood, a fantastic photographer from Liverpool. Ilham also won an Award for her work, which was really cool (Congrats). Denise from JED Technique (an amazing person). I also met the founders of iTeddy (great work, very cute invention), and loads more inspirational people..... I will add their names, as I remember :)

Terri Hatcher Faces Beauty Lawsuit

Teri Hatcher has angrily hit back at bosses of a cosmetics firm, who are suing her for breach of contract, insisting she complied with all their terms.
The Desperate Housewives star signed up to a $2.4 million contract to solely promote LA skincare company, Hydroderm, but executives there have filed legal papers claiming she promoted other beauty items at the same time.
Hatcher insists the allegations are 'totally false and completely without merit', and feels she is the victim in the case because management changes at Hydroderm left her unsure of the contract.
The actress's lawyer said in a statement: 'Clearly, Hydroderm has embarked on this unjustified and public assault on Teri Hatcher's good name, reputation and celebrity in a transparent and pathetic effort to distract from its own failure to live up to its end of the agreement. Ms. Hatcher will respond swiftly and decisively by appropriate legal means to recover everything she is owed under her contract, as well as compensatory and punitive damages for Hydroderm's outrageous accusations.'

Swarovski's Limited Edition Pandas..So Cute!

Swarovski is turning the spotlight on endangered species, by introducing a limited edition crystal series featuring endangered wildlife. The first collection features pandas designed by Heinz Tabertshofer. Tabertshofer, who was in Seoul last week to promote the Trilogy Endangered Wildlife series 2008-2010, said it is important to protect the environment and save the wildlife.
